I’m Anna Elise, a photographer and visual storyteller based in Hamburg.

My work is rooted in a documentary approach and influenced by a deep connection to the ocean, travel and outdoor culture. Spending time in these environments made me gravitate towards imagery that feels honest and immersive rather than overly staged.

I’m less interested in perfection and more interested in creating work that feels alive and emotionally real.

Coming from both photography and motion, I naturally think in sequences and stories instead of isolated images. Whether I’m working with athletes, brands or individuals, I want the final work to feel like a genuine experience rather than just documentation.​

A lot of my inspiration comes from environments shaped by movement — surf trips, training sessions, competition days, changing weather, long hours outside and the people connected through them. I’m often most inspired by the moments that exist around the action itself, and the atmosphere they leave behind.
